Ridgeside Commissioners Vote on First Reading to Close Lynncrest

Ridgeside commissioners decided Tuesday night, January 18, 2010, to close Lynncrest at Tunnel Blvd.

The city auditor's report for the fiscal year indicated a surplus in the Ridgeside balance of funds. The auditor complimented the financial condition of Ridgeside.

Commissioner Sonny Sanders reminded residents that commission election will be in November. Current mayor Brant Mason said he will not be a candidate for re-election. Commissioners Sanders and Dunagan said they had not yet made a decision on whether to seek to serve another four years.
